Slartboz: July 31st Demo Video on Track, and 2 Fun Artifacts
The July 31st demo video debut is viable and on track. I'm focused on ensuring that what I can show working in it is beefy enough and exciting enough that it might help raise public/fan engagement to a higher level than its been to date.
I came down sick the last few days, with what might just be a cold. But when I get a cold I get in lots of pain and lose sleep. So I've been shambling around IRL like a zombie. That may slow down my dev pace. Fingers crossed it clears up fully by Monday.
I wanted to give a quick micro-preview of TWO COOL ARTIFACTS which will be in the game. They're working today! And might be demonstrated in the 1st demo video of play.
The Danger Shades
A wearable. Very high tech. Very very rare. And based on a tech/science/magic perhaps lost to mankind forever. But in the plot threads available for Abro and friends to pursue and try solving, it IS possible to acquire a pair of this very cool and powerful personal kit.
What does it do? That will be... a secret. (Well, unless the reader is able to find my longform blog to -- NO no no, nevermind, I've said too much already, Nancy. Far *far* too much. And now the Witching Hour approaches...)
Propaganda Billboards
A large in-world contraption. scattered throughout the world of Normerika 2100 CE
How do they work? If I see like $100 in new donations flow in (via my CashApp link -- the exact URL is in the main Slartboz page text near the end, and in a few of the screenshots up.) then I *will* post more evil little (but F-F-F-F-Fun!) details about them. Otherwise? You'll all have to wait for the demo video to drop. ("Sad! Bigly!" - former Ex-President/Ex-Con Ronald B. Grump.)
