Slartboz: Release Plans (Playtesters in Sep, Public in Dec)

September 30 - release of prototype build (a playable executable for Mac & Win) to a few invite-only early playtesters

October to November: incorporating their feedback, and doing more engine upgrades and world content buildout, I'll deliver new versions of the playable exe to my playtesters. and widen the number of folks in that set

December: 1st version avail to general public. on Itch and elsewhere. for Mac, Windows, Linux. it will be a limited "demo content" subset of the full game's features and content. and FREE

Christmas: add a 2nd version -- the FULL DELUXE build of the game with all engine capabilities and the complete game world & all plots. for a price. hard minimum of say... $5? but will accept higher amounts for those who wish it. the FREE demo-only executable will be refreshed at this time too

Janurary onward: more upgrades to the engine, more content added and more polish and tuning. we may make critical improvements and bug fixes avail as free downloads for prior customers. but some new stuff will be held back to make its debut in an ostensible "Slartboz 2: Blatantly Milking The Cow" due next spring/summer. (working title only, obvs. lol)
